I found his advice to her very appropriate. he was attempting to help her get things back in a working order. one step at a time, transportation is the most important thing you can have. besides shes is obviously overly emotional which annoys the shit out of her husband. once her car is fixed she can get to the salon to make herself at least look decent and then become a proper cougar.

Most likely the editor/columnist and probably several other people at this shitty paper never read the whole story and assumed her whole issue was with the car. Gotta love it when people get paid to much for not doing anything special.
